Parcel Lockers: Solutions to Manage Incoming Packages and Mail

Parcel lockers have been around for many years. The industry has finally caught up with the technology to drive real efficiencies in the solution. How? Mobile workforces, “hoteling, demand for 24-hour service and availability and other changes that are driving businesses away from the traditional mail/package delivery at the cubicle models. In this session, the presenters will share real life examples and experiences of how to optimize this change. The lockers can be wonderfully versatile if configured and planned appropriately. The factors that make this possible are not always obvious and this session will show you how to identify and use tools to optimize each shared.

The Evolution and Revolution of Mail Services

Mail Services continue to evolve and often still is a ‘catch all’ for work that shouldn’t necessarily fall into the scope of services. How do you set up guardrails for your team as well as continue to support the business needs, without compromising either. Defining your scope of work is key, but also helps really set a path for your ongoing success. Mail centers are changing, evolving and in many ways, revolutionizing the way companies operate their business. We will look at ways to stay focused on your core duties – while also being able to expand where it makes sense, but also give you the tools to push back when necessary. Protect your team while continuing to provide value add services that are within your scope and skill set for your organization. What functions may fall under the umbrella of Employee Experience, which should not, how do you pick and choose? The session will help you with your own strategic vision and being more deeply integrated into your organization.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

How do you manage your own team or vendor performance for the mail services or other supporting services? Often organizations use SLAs and KPIs interchangeably, so we will help you understand the difference between the two. During the session sample SLAs and KPIs will be shared so you can think about applicability for your organization. Next, how to you manage the performance of your team or of a service provider? Aligning your organizational goals with your SLAs and KPIs will help you to align within your organization. What type of reporting do you want to receive or track? Are you looking for volume data only or are you looking for more? Your SLAs and KPIs will help in guiding what you want to have reported.
